“At least 9 people were shot Monday evening on the “Broadwalk” in Hollywood Beach, Florida. Police say there may be more victims.
Video from the scene shows first responders and beachgoers tending to victims. Another video, which you can see below, shows people scrambling to safety when the gunfire started.
“Police are responding right now. We have victims treated by police and paramedics on scene and transported to the hospital,” Mayor Josh Levy told the Sun Sentinel newspaper. “It seemed like people might have gotten caught in the crossfire. But I can’t verify that.””

But the NAACP promised they would stop sending people to Florida to help stop the violence
