Ethan Schmidt, a right-wing anti-LGBTQ+ activist who once threatened to "hunt" down gay people and was once filmed destroying a Pride collection at a Target store, has gone viral after screenshots of Schmidt's alleged activity on a gay dating app surfaced on social media.
Twitter users shared what appeared to be sexually-explicit conversations the Arizona-based extremist had with a man on Grindr.
… Previously, Schmidt threatened to "hunt" LGBTQ rights supporters in a video posted to Twitter and, in a different video, harassed Target employees about the company's pride-themed campaign for Pride Month.

One of our dangers is conservatives are so hungry for a public voice that amoral people will see that there is $ opportunity and lie to fill that role.
I can think of A few examples. One is Geraldo who I used to watch his talk show in the 80s and he was solidly and consistently left. Then about 5 years ago he suddenly became “moderate” and starting working on FOX. Mitt Romney is another, he actually was a solid Democrat until 1993 when after losing a few elections to other Dems he decided the grass was greener on the right and became the fake Republican still chewing on our butt today. The only Republican in US history to have voted for impeachment for a POTUS IN HIS OWN PARTY. Yet he has supporters here on FR 🤷♂️.
