Ukraine pressuring Germany to provide long-range missiles capable of striking Moscow

Ukraine has asked Germany to supply it with long-range Taurus cruise missiles capable of hitting Moscow.

Volodymyr Zelensky requested the missiles, designed to destroy heavily fortified, “high-value” enemy targets, during his trip to Berlin earlier in May, according to German media.

He reportedly used Ukraine’s supplies of Storm Shadow cruise missiles from Britain, which have a slightly shorter range of around 215 miles, to put pressure on Olaf Scholz, the German Chancellor. Ukraine has used Storm Shadow to strike Russian supply depots and command posts deep behind the frontline in occupied territory since May.

Nearly everything Ukraine has asked for was denied at first and told it will never happen only for it to be provided at a later date.

Providing Ukraine with missiles capable of hitting Moscow would be the thing to escalate this war to a level off the charts.

Spare Moscow. Just take out Put and Prig with ninja drones and the war can be brought to an end.

The Germans had best consider the numerous type missiles in the Russian arsenal that are capable of striking Berlin. Eventually the Russians will have had enough of NATO weapons killing Russians. The Russians will counter escalate by retuning the favor and will start killing NATO personnel and citizens with their weapons. Once NATO makes its last and final escalations the nuclear threshold will be crossed within a week.

Ukes are killing their commanders. Of course zelensky is nowhere near.

This should end things. They’re past tired of being pawns of the west.

It’s taken the Euros awhile to realize Pootin will not stop with eastern Ukraine. Pooty has made it plain he wants to restore the lost USSR. If he takes eastern Ukeland next comes the rest of it, Then Belarus. Then Poland. Then the Baltics. The Euros can either suck it up and stop Pootin in his tracks and make him pay for the damage he’s done or they can each get ready for their own fight-—just as soon as the RF can re-arm and rebuild.

It’s only been 3/4 of a century since the Euros had a real duke-out. That’s about 1/4 longer than they usually last. So they either suck it up now or get ready to wipe out half a century of progress?

Cleaning up corruption can come later. Maybe after we get our own cleaned up. First Russia needs to be schooled in how to run a civilization. Maybe even get McDonalds back? Gonna need Trump soonest.

NATO has fought Russia to a standstill in Ukraine with 9 9/10 fingers behind its back. If Putin attacks any NATO country the NATO proxy war gloves come off. NATO would have total air superiority on day one. NATO would launch its overpowering might all along a 3500 mile front. Russia’s conventional forces would be decimated within a week. The Russians ONLY defense left would be nukes, which they would resort to within the first two weeks of general conflict. One thing the exhibition of Russian ineffectiveness when dealing with a mere pittance of NATO force in Ukraine has done is to definitively put to bed the laughable notion that Russia has any possible thought of committing immediate suicide by trying to revive the USSR. The Russians are only trying to protect themselves from the greatest offensive juggernaut in the history of the world being parked on their border, preaching forced regime change, a days tank ride from Moscow.

How Donald Trump would end this war.

1. Tell Putin and Zelensky that each province of the Ukraine will be allowed to vote to become part of Russia or the Ukraine via international supervision and legitimate free elections.

2. If Russia does not agree tell Putin the Ukraine will be supplied with all weapons short of nuclear to defeat Russia in the Ukraine and as Russia is the aggressor these weapons can be used in Russian sovereign territory.

3. If Zelensky refuses this offer, cut off all aid financial and military, and Putin wins.

4. If Putin refuses this offer, inform him the entire industrial complex of the west is making weapons for the Ukraine.

Mr. Budanov, Intel Branch of the Ministry of Defense, Ukraine, is a bit of a loose cannon.

Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukraine will be fortunate to hang on to how much land and water that Ukraine currently can - using its present resources to maintain the frontlines.

Moscow can cut roadways and rail traffic between Ukraine and other countries, but Moscow has held back from constant, heavy bombardment of those logistics avenues.

Ukraine has plenty of targets to hit within Ukraine’s territory that Russia now occupies, without adventures beyond Ukraine’s borders.

Ukraine needs thousands of trucks/vehicles that each mount one of the following types of weapons:

- mortar
- multiple rocket tube launcher
- SPG-9

That, because Ukraine needs to be able to lay down a lot of suppressive bombardment.

And that, cannot be accomplished with glamorous F-16 fighter jets.

And, Ukraine does not, and will likely not, have enough tanks (nor heavy-to-middle weight armor), nor field artillery pieces to provide the necessary bombardment offense to recover all of its territory lost to Russia aggression.

Let’s see Russia regularly sends missiles to the capital of Ukraine to rain death down on that city’s civilian population.

So Ukraine sending a few missiles to specific identified military targets in Russia’s capital is an unthinkable abomination? I don’t think so.

Remember Ukraine use to be one of the largest nuclear powers in the world.........until the USA, Russia, UK, and France talked Ukraine into giving up its nuclear weapons in exchange for international guarantees we (including Russia, France and UK) would protect their territorial sovereignty.

I actually have no qualms in Ukraine using long range missiles against military command and control or logistic targets deep within Russia. Yes, it could cause Russia to go crazy, but so could anything else. When I was in Bulgaria and Romania last summer, the people in those countries were very concerned that they might be next if Russia wins in Ukraine. I think that they have valid reasons to be concerned.
