These things have become super popular for daily office wear, especially among the younger crowd. Some are pretty wild with a full brogue upper. I can’t get past the white outsole.
OBAMA sat at the Presidential desk with no suit coat-—his tie askew—his sleeves rolled up-—and HIS FEET ON THE RESOLUTE DESK.
My first exposure to sneakers in the courtroom was when I had a case in the Federal District Court in San Diego as an ICE attorney. In walks the opposing counsel in sneakers. This was around 2000 or so I was dumbfounded. Things have surely continued to go downhill at a fast pace from there. No Fetterman appears on the House Floor in sweats and shorts.
Africans do what they want. They always wear emergency sneakers just in case a basketball game breaks out.
Any pair of shoes they wear are “sneakers” because they’re being worn by liberal democrats.
I don’t really care that much about the sneakers. I see several other things in this picture than don’t belong in the Oval Office...
Ronald Reagan always wore a jacket in the Oval Office. Out of respect for the office. “Mister we could use a man like Ronald Reagan again...” Maybe that is why God gave us President Trump.
I remember the big kerfuffle about a group of young women wearing flip-flops while touring the White House when Dubya was president.
What these clowns are discussing is far more important than their footwear, but where is the respect and decorum expected of “leaders”?
Yeah, I am most definitely NOT a fan of the goofy sock craze. Don’t make statements with your clothing. Make statements with who you are on the inside.
JFK was a democrat, too.
Did Regan or Bush use the oval office as a brothel?
Not that I’m aware of. Don’t think Trump did either.
Seems to be a demonrat thing.
Old people should wear comfortable shoes all the time. Rigid dress shoes can cause your feet to be painful. Sore feet will make you miserable. These Young punk writers don’t have a clue.
If you are a member of the oligarchy you can do whatever you want.
Reagan never took his Suit Jacket off in the Oval.
Reagan was a giant of a President.
Harding did.
I might raise an eyebrow if he was barefoot or in flip flops.
JFK is forever emblazoned on fashion. He was the first to wear slippers with a tuxedo at a prestigious event.
Like all elite pigs his faux-pas has been turned into a decision that is so “above you lowly peasants” that the fawning media made is think it was actually the classiest move that fratboy asshole ever did.
The emperors new clothes, as it is.
He’s an embarrassment… Typical Democrat asshole
It is probably as close to waders they are allowed to wear.
