Putin's officials blame British Storm Shadow missiles for devastating long-distance Ukrainian strike on Russian-held Mariupol

The Kremlin has blamed Britain's Storm Shadow missiles for a devastating long-distance attack on war-torn Mariupol as Ukraine stages a fightback against its Russian occupiers.

Ukraine's once fiercely defended city, now in the Russian-held sector of Donetsk, reported two missile strikes on Friday, where a monthslong siege early in the war left much of the city in ruins.

Two successive strikes hit the besieged city, one of them allegedly hitting the Azovstal steel works where Ukraine forces once battled to fend off Russian attack.

Kremlin state news agency Tass cited an unnamed official as saying the missiles were long-range Storm Shadows, which Britain delivered to Ukraine this month.

Britain delivered the Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine earlier this month. The long-range missiles mean Ukraine would be able to strike deep into eastern Russian-held territory.

Two strikes hit the city’s industrial zone, said Russian pro-war Rybar Telegram channel with 1.1 million followers.

Ukraine has not yet taken responsibility for the strike, or said it had used the Storm Shadow missiles.

Not our problem and. One of our business.

The borders in Europe moved back and forth for a thousand years with any help from the USA. They din’t need our help now.

Then we shouldn’t have been involved in World War 1 or 2 either huh? That’s a great reason not to be involved in the world because there have always been wars what a brilliant analysis.

Why don’t some of you people wake up and live in the real world

Before you start celebrating, you might want to consider this... read the entire article.....

"devastating long-distance strike on Russian......".... so now Russia can say, "well we need a defensive buffer zone to prevent those missles from destroying (insert target) INSIDE RUSSIA.

So now suppliers, ships, trains and trucks as well as the roads, bridges and rail lines that supply the missles is "fair game"..... because NOW British/NATO forces are probably delivering them as well as providing navigational intel and targeting...

Everybody is just so itchy to get WW3 going. When this blows up eastern Europe and metastasizes to UK and France..... then we'll see how eager everyone will be to send Americans to fight for European freedom.

Biden and the deep state are going to put American troops in areas to act as trip wires.... that should make the families of all those Army/Air Force and Spec ops really happy to be used as bait.... Why not? It's Memorial Day weekend.... let's add to the lists, right?

This would be comical but is so obviously stupid it lowers one’s IQ. Of course it is someone’s missiles. The Ukraine has been at war for over 10 years and has been out of their munitions for God knows how long. If it wasn’t for the fast checkout credit only line in the local munitions Costco called the world, they wouldn’t have any at all.

“The missile weighs about 1,300 kilograms (2,900 lb), with a conventional warhead of 450 kilograms (990 lb). It has a maximum body diameter of 48 centimetres (19 in) and a wingspan of three metres (120 in). It is propelled at Mach 0.8 by a Microturbo TRI 60-30 turbojet engine and has range of approximately 560 km (300 nmi; 350 mi).”

And God Bless Trump for starting the arming of Ukraine so it could defend itself. Credit to Biden for carrying that policy forward. The one thing I can give Biden credit for even though I wont vote for him.

All these little pissant countries want to tweak the bear’s tail because they are expecting us to go to war to defend them.

Wrong.

Yes.

We should NOT have been involved in WWI. It only made things worse.

As for WWII we had no choice after Germany declared war on the USA.

The Ukraine and Russia are not our allies, they are not our friends, and their disputes are not our disputes.

Remember FRiend, the USA is NOT the world’s policeman.

Obviously, delivering these weapons are acts of war, and the ports, airfields, and rail lines being used to wage war on Russia will eventually be targets.

Fighting back AFTER Russia invades you is tweaking the bear’s tail?

On what planet did you get your logic?

Tell that to the widows of B-52 airmen shot down by Soviet SAM 2’s over Vietnam.

These weapons were given to the North Vietnamese commies at no charge and shipped in via Chicom railways, airports via Soviet cargo aircraft and ports visited by Soviet merchant vessels.

Funny how we didn’t make the Soviets targets of anything.

The constitution doesn’t mention starting any war we think might lead to something does it?

Explain that deliberate lie.

This never happened at all. The Obama and Trump administrations didn't arm Ukraine.
