I was born 4/3/56. Unless you are of my generation the chart below will have little meaning to you. My draft number was 8 in 1976. You better believe I was thankful for Kissinger’s efforts in ending that quagmire before I was sucked into it. The democrat congress blew it up by completely defunding it 1975.

I thought the draft ended in 1973? Too late for me. I still had to spend a year in that hell hole. Easily the worst year of my life.
