But then, Trump never ran on or pretended to be a Conservative. We knew that was not the case from Day One. Which is one reason why many of us were reluctant to jump on the Trump Train. And now, all the Trump camp can do is bash and try to destroy DeSantis, the one and only Conservative that will be running.
This is going to end up a major FUBAR. If the left manages to disqualify Trump from running via their endless legal prosecutions, we won’t have a viable candidate that has a chance of winning in 2024. The Democrats will have an open field. So the Trump camp is playing right into the leftist agenda by trashing DeSantis like they are (in my humble opinion).
