That was probably Ron’s plan but I’d bet the deepstate came to him with an offer he couldn’t refuse. Assuming his echoing of Trump was genuine WHY would ANYONE do as Ron is doing now? Why wouldn’t anyone WAIT for Trump to play out? Why would ANYONE enrage the base as DeSantis is doing now? Why wouldn’t ANYONE spend the next four years polishing his brand and positioning as he sees fit?
I doubt that very many “big shots” in America could stand the ultra anal Trump has gotten from everyone including the intelligence agencies, the DOJ, congress and every ideological psycho DA in Christiandom.
I think DeSantis is being used by the deepstate under threat. They doubtless showed him six ways legit or illegitimate they could screw him into the ground.

I stand corrected on one point. He did tepidly come on board the Bud Light debacle, as far as reminding Anheuser Busch that people will vote with their wallets and only doing so a full two weeks after his own son pleaded with conservatives to drop the boycott.
It’s a simple question: why are the groomers at Disney giving millions of dollars to Trump. They gave more money than anybody except Sheldon Adelson in 2020. Why?
