I do not see why only one type is free speech (the “speech” being burning an American flag, or urinating on a picture of Christ).

A court might rule that burning a rainbow, BLM, or Israeli flag is intended as harassment or intimidation of a protected group.

The latter story is from Canada. I'm not sure if it's yet a crime to burn an Israeli flag in the U.S. I'm guessing it depends on whether the flag burner was "of color" or white.

Like the 1930s gangsters and later the organized crime enforcers demanding a take from small business and restaurant owners some people get special protection. Can’t be too careful. However, step outside the Dem Party Plantation and you lose the protection fast.
