Uhm - EXCUSE ME? My wife is of Chinese decent. She is an American. Born and raised in SF China town. Her mom was born in Boston! What allegiance do they own the CCP? Nadda! For those thinking this could happen - please remember the Japanese locked up in interment camps - and the Go-For-Broke Battalion of WWII fame!
I would think that most Chinese Americans would be dang glad to be out of the reach of the CCP, and not feel they owe them a nickel’s worth of allegience. Isn’t that what your wife’s American relatives of Chinese descent would think?
