Marin County prosecutors have dropped a felony vandalism case against five demonstrators who destroyed a religious statue outside the historic mission in San Rafael.
Instead, the prosecution reduced the charges to misdemeanors and offered the defendants diversion, which will allow the case to be dismissed entirely if they meet certain conditions.

Two guys did a burn out on a giant BLM painted on a city street.
Well, who’s surprised at that?
I understand that “defacing” the “blm” “mural” is a hate crime.
Did the FBI help?
The condition will probably be to not vandalize more than one church or statue per quarter.
They are lucky they didn’t vandalize a Baphomet statue! Would be in jail without bail.
Catholics should know by now they have a big target painted on them, and if they want to protect their sacred spaces, they will have to do so by force.
What would the results have been if, when the vandals came to do their dirty work, five or six ski-mask wearing, baton wielding men came out and beat seven bells out of them, before leaving.
Certainly liberals and leftists would mourn. But other vandals would have to think twice before engaging to do other works of hate and evil.
