Climate protesters in the U.K. blocked traffic in London on Tuesday, grinding the city to a halt and prompting so much anger that commuters attacked them.
Just Stop Oil protesters organized several marches across the city, aiming to disrupt traffic.
The protests occurred at a number of bridges, including the Tower and London bridges, according to TMX News.
The protest reiterated the group’s demands for Britain to immediately stop all new oil and gas production, usually employing a number of provocative protests that involve the destruction of famous art or private property to gain attention and outrage the public.

Some Londoner got sick of these A$$holes blocking traffic. So he started pushing these jerks out of the way. So, the cops arrested HIM!
Almost everything we do from work to life-saving surgeries, to ambulances, and people with medical problems trying to reach their home bathroom or insulin, people trying to desperately get to that job interview, people coming from the gym who are dehydrated and were only 15 minutes from their apartment and breakfast and rehydration, moms with sick or hungry kids in the backseat, or that important internet pitch to the Japanese corporation is in the word “traffic”, or “bridge”.
One of our toughest felonies and most sudden and violent protest reactions should be against anyone blocking “traffic”.
If they wish to be glued down, someone should oblige them. Put some cones around them and check back in a couple weeks. Wonder if the glue they use is all natural or a derivative by product of evil oil. Fookin’ idjits! 🖕

A Twitter user explained it, pointing to a news article. In the UK, many of these protesters are the spoiled offspring of the upper classes, whose parents can afford the lawyers to make life unpleasant for the police if their precious darlings are harmed.
