The “media” and the dems are joining Trump in attacking DeSantis, because they are single-minded about getting Trump to the general election. The left sees Trump as the far more beatable target.
Make no mistake about it. No one in the deep state, media or anywhere else is worried about a Desanctimonius Presidency...no more than they were worried about a Jeb Presidency a GWB Presidency or a Clinton President. Whatever their strategy is there ultimate goal is to make sure there is no Trump Presidency. That’s thr PRESIDENCY they’re all worried about, even if not the candidacy(and I’m not convinced of that either)
