I wish we would speed up the process here in Oklahoma. The folks at my local rural UMC church still happily have their heads in the sand. People want to avoid ruining lifelong friendships in this small town, but there is no way significant animosity is going to be avoided.
You will be amazed how quickly amity is restored once the spectre of satan is removed from the altar.
