The 15-year-old Ukrainian schoolgirl was taken one warm morning last October.
Like everyone else in Kherson, a city on the estuary of the Dnipro river in southern Ukraine, Yevheniia's family were still adjusting to life under Russian control. Putin's tanks and troops had poured into the city seven months earlier, soon after the invasion of Ukraine began.
Now there were checkpoints, military police, rumours of Russian brutality; of women being raped. Ukraine was fighting to get the city back and there was a constant risk of shelling. Few people went out after 5pm.
In the apartment where the teenager lived with her mother Maryna, 37, a sales assistant in a clothes shop; her father Oleskii, 36, a sailor; and her seven-year-old sister, the atmosphere was tense. So when her teacher invited Yevheniia and her classmates on a two-week holiday in Crimea, on the Black Sea, she leapt at the chance.
'I was going far away from the war with my friends,' she tells me now.

It’s amazing to me how easily people like you are manipulated. It’s 1984 all over again.
Russia needs population. It is not replenishing itself.
Russians may also believe they are helping the children. Quite likely.
Russia is an authoritarian nation. If their people do not want to have children, maybe Putin needs to conscript women and force them to have babies for the motherland. But leave Ukraine and other former Soviet Republics out of it.
They have done it before.

You talk like those soviet Putinistas who says there is “NO WAR”? Right?
Do you also believe the earth is flat?
Ever notice that refugees don’t pour into Russia, Cuba, North Korea, or China?
Good boys that needed structure were allowed to join the military instead of facing some charges, which is a vast difference from hardened, convicted prison inmates.
Teens who were perceived as good boys, not convicted killers and rapists, and robbers, tried, convicted, sentenced, and sitting in prisons.
Putin and Hillary were pals, she helped him get Kazachstan’s uranium mines. Biden has always been in Russia’s camp, at least since the 1980s when he and the other rats- that we still have jacking things up- were doing their best to make sure Russia could have Nicaraguan bases.
And here is an earlier article from Daily Mail dating from Mars:
‘Putin has STOLEN our Ukrainian children’: Distraught parents tell how THOUSANDS of youngsters never returned from ‘summer camps’ they went to after being rounded up by Russian troops in ‘campaign’ likened to ISIS abduction of Yazidi girls
Let me guess. You are pro Russian with Ukraine. Everything is propaganda if Russia looks bad. It kinda sounds like you are pushing the propaganda
That’s why Russia feels comfortable hanging out with authoritarian countries like Iran, Syria, North Korea and Venezuela.
.
I don’t know what that video was about, but I do know that it was barbaric for Russia to invade their neighbor and to send the prison population against that neighbor as mercenaries.
It will be interesting to watch over the coming years what effect those returning prisoners will have in Russia now that they are trained military and hardened fighters, it could be the Russian criminal world is going to be more violent, better trained, better armed, and more daring than they were before.
What are you even about?
The Clinton pal in Uranium One deal was Frank Giustra, a Canadian mining magnate and big donor on the board of the Clinton Foundation. Also gave Haiti gold mine shares to Hillary’s brother, Tony.
"Barbaric"? Oh, aren't you people so innocent. It was common in Ukraine to openly discuss genocide on their public TV for the extermination of the Russian population that lived in Ukraine. You guys are completely lost. Brainwashed.

Think they were kidding? Here, watch them burn 47 Russians to death. As far as anyone can determine, no charges were ever brought forth.
Evil dark forces have taken over Russia. It’s the Russian/Soviet deep-state. The Russian people have to suffer for it. The Ukrainian people have to suffer for it.
And we, the Western people, are now hoping for the best while preparing for the worst. That’s good. We have awakened from our naivety thinking that the Soviets would never again invade sovereign nations...
Russia has STILL not given back Kaliningrad in the center of Europe! Kaliningrad is of course overflowing with Russian nuclear missiles as we speak... Putin was boasting about that again recently. No wonder NATO was created.
NATO and America is the last line of defense from Kremlin’s BIG Government Soviet control and their communist friends : North Korea, China, Cuba, Belarus, Venezuela, Nicaragua. AND... the Islamic State of IRAN (they are the true Putinistas)
We must also awaken the 10% of FR people drunken on deep-state Kremlin propaganda juice. While they rightfully criticize Americas deep-state, they seem do adore Kremlin’s deep state. Isn’t that kind of ironic... ?
