I use their product as a sort of static online resume. No need to post material or discuss controversial topics - it’s just a limited way to prove you exist.

Hate to suggest “Me too” products as the venture capitalists call it, but we need a resume networking app of our own.

Rumble, givesendgo, and of course the plethora of pre-Musk twitter clones are an example.

An online resume is a very bad idea. Someone who has the same (or very similar) name as yourself can borrow your work and education history to set themselves up in a profession where they don’t belong...and then they can ruin your reputation when they fail.

When I was working, I used LinkedIn to network within the iT industry for projects. Over the last decade, it’s become a chat organization like Facebook.
