For those unaware, certain members of this very website created Veterans for Constitutional Restoration (VetsCoR), a legal non-profit corporation. I was proud to be a founding member and then Secretary who wrote a monthly newsletter for the members. I later became Chairman.
VetsCoR's purpose and mission was to build a Veterans' movement to inform and address by peaceful means the anti-Constitution activities of our politicians. Unfortunately we couldn't get the funding to go large and get our message out.
More importantly, the Vets we would approach through personal contacts and the various Veteran organizations like American Legion, VFW, AMVETS and others had little interest in politics. They felt they had done their duty and would rather hang out at their local Posts, while conducting local charitable events. Fair enough. They all do a LOT of good for the causes they support.
VetsCoR motto:
Hey, me too!
I was proud of that. I do miss Neil Wright and his leadership on that. Still got my certificate on the wall.
I joined Oath Keepers when they first came out. Never really participated though, so I haven’t been rounded up by the FIB... Yet.
Thanks for the ping FRiend.
