A 25-year-old man was jailed Wednesday for six months for he attempted to “buy” a Covid-19 vaccination certificate from a nurse with HK$1,000 without actually getting the shot.
The defendant Cheung Chin-hang had earlier pleaded guilty to offering an advantage to an agent, breaching the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance.
Passing the sentence in West Kowloon Court today, Acting Principal Magistrate Veronica Heung Shuk-han said it was selfish of Cheung to ask the nurse to assist him in getting a fake vaccination record when the government spared no effort to keep the severe epidemic situation under control.
Given the offense’s serious nature, Heung started the jail term at nine months and reduced it by one-third considering Cheung’s guilty plea.
The court heard that Cheung was a community health practitioner of a District Health Center under the Health Bureau at the material time and his workplace was subject to the Vaccine Pass arrangement, meaning he must get inoculated against Covid before going to work.
On September 21 last year, Cheung visited the community vaccination center at Osman Ramju Sadick Memorial Sports Center and offered HK$1,000 to an enrolled nurse for issuing a vaccination certificate without actually getting the vaccine shot.
The nurse rejected Cheung’s request and reported the matter to Quality HealthCare Medical Services Ltd, which operated that vaccination center.
A corruption complaint was then filed to the ICAC, leading to an investigation which revealed Cheung’s medical exemption certificate expired a day before his visit to the vaccination center. Cheung later said he was unwell after receiving the first jab and so he tried to bribe the nurse to get a vaccination certificate.
He did not offer the nurse the right options...

A Swedish person remarked online in a forum that 30-40 % of the population’s vax cards are fake - there’s a huge industry there and everyone looks the other way.
I thought Swedish people do what they are told.
I think TPTB are quite willing to accept fake cards.
For now.
IMHO, the goal isn't a vax card, it's getting people used to the idea of presenting a document upon demand to a stranger who has absolutely no business demanding it.
Get people used to the idea of presenting the paper, fake or not, then, after a period of time, dump the paper and move to digital; a large portion of your population will meekly move to the digital, and only because they have been trained to show the paper.
What an absolute catastrophe everything having to do with C-19 and ‘vaccines’ has become with how governments have dealt with it.
From censorship to coercion. Enemies of truth or even questioning narrative ‘truth’.
Can’t question if they work - ‘they are safe and effective’
Can’t question if natural immunity works - nature is not as effective as big pharma.
Can’t question Ivermectin - this is only for horses
Can’t question masks - everyone knows paper masks can protect against airborne viruses, and yes corona avoids the eyes.
Can’t question locking down - one is selfish to go outside where UV rays fracture viruses in seconds or minutes.
Can’t question why censoring esteemed scientists’ professional opinions is foolish - the doctors at FB, twitter, Youtube know best.
I could go on.

I refused to fake it. I did not enable all that evil in any way.
The concern is that this would lead to the whole social credit score that one would be forced to present upon demand; we would literally be living in a digital prison.
Naomi Wolf has been all over this; Tucker Carlson had raised this on his show as well.

Anybody who participates in this with a fake card is basically just walking away from the fight and making it that much harder for the next person.
It is terrible the kung flu passport template from the FDA is available online and lot numbers of vaccines in local areas are available online. If people knew that they could make their own passports with legitimate lot numbers on their own.

That’s exactly it. Making it harder for the next person. People would wear masks because it was just easier, or they really needed to get into some store or office. I’ll be unpopular, but they’re all wusses. Mice. Small and Insignificant. They forgot the sacrifices made by those who came before.
I’m sure your familiar with Stanley Milgram’s experiments at Yale, after which he came to the conclusion that only about one-third of a population had the moral or psychological hardware to refuse an unlawful order.
I think it’s even less than that.
It got me into a lot of confrontations and I had to leave a few places, but I would not relent.
For this situation, it might be; I don't think a loss of income played a part in his experiments.
It might also be that there were simply more decent people in society in the early 1960s (although from what I have heard and read, he found his conclusions almost terrifying).
As he should find his results terrifying.
Now look at society today. It’s beyond messed up. If you’re a normal guy, you’re a small percentage.
