Many are questioning why Ron DeSantis chose Twitter to make his presidential announcement. National File has reported on the Florida Governor’s all-time low polling numbers in GOP Primary polling and some have speculated that DeSantis chose Twitter for his announcement because he feared that he could not draw a large crowd in person. DeSantis only drew about 300 people at his recent event in Iowa.

And desanctomonious supports the election steal of 2020 and the weaponization of the government against Trump and his supporters. Beyond MAGA, Trump has NO support. He has lost the suburbanites and indies in 2018 and the GOP, except in (imagine that) Florida, has been in a tailspin ever since. DeSantis attracts more than just a core group. He was the first Republican in decades to win Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties.
Trump may very well win the nomination, but it’ll stop there.

They changed the rules in the last 5 months before an election (illegally in most states) not because he wasn’t popular but because it was obvious his GOTV operation was going to be completely unmatched in 2020. Trump didn’t benefit from mail in voting and got 74m votes. He was too dangerous to the system in a less constrained second term. He was clear that Europe and China were on his hit list. They destroyed the country because they knew he’d win. Absolutely destroyed it. The rule of law isn’t even a thing anymore. That’s how far they went.

DeSantis was asked multiple times in public including the debate whether he would state for the record that he would not run, and promise to serve out his term.,and he never pledged that. Charlie Crist tried to make this a campaign issue, the fact that DeSantis would NOT commit to serving out his term, so all the well published and known facts are not in your favor. Maybe your explanation is why you still keep posting it anyway.
The GOP had exactly the same opportunity to leverage mail-in voting, absentee voting and ballot harvesting, but threw its lot behind the false hope they’d make up the deficits on Election Day. We don’t have to like mail-in and absentee voting, and we can hate the idea of ballot harvesting, but those are the conditions on the ground and they aren’t going away.
As for Trump, many of his endorsees lost elections in 2022 that should’ve been won. The sooner it’s understood he doesn’t command the narrative like his supporters wish he did doesn’t change that fact.
