Or Scott Walker 2.0. It's a big jump from governor to President and it starts by being able to build a big coalition. Maybe DeSantis can do it but that remains to be seen. To me, DeSantis still has that smell of a career politician.

He certainly does. He’s just like Cruz in that everything he says is a deliberate calculation. No genuine human responses in his speaking. He think’s he’s God’s gift to the world, even though it seems like most people can’t stand him.
