if they are born that way (I think they are, for the most part) then what exactly are they “proud” of.

If black people are born that way, what exactly are they "proud" of?

I ask because the incessant yammering about "black pride" predates the yammering about sodomite "pride".

I live in a good sized Italian and Irish city. There is lots of Italian and Irish Pride stuff going on as well.

Most of these people couldn’t find Ireland or Italy on a map. I am not sure how they are proud of where their parents came from.

I DO understand how my mother in law used to be proud of her lasagna. That stuff was masterful.
