That's ridiculous. The Producers is a comedy, and the pseudo-Nazi character is the subject of ridicule. And no one would think that character was based on Mel Brooks himself. Roger Waters admitted the rock star character is a representation of him. He's the protagonist/hero and is not the object of ridicule.

Nobody who has actually seen the film could say that with a straight face. That itself is a ridiculous statement. The film ridicules him from almost the very first frame.
