It appears that the mood on FR has shifted. I don’t see anybody screaming that a nuclear war is not a possibility and that Putin will never pull the trigger.
“Dramatic raid”? It was more like farcical. On both sides. See my post on this thread:

Russians stupidly asleep at the wheel. Ukrainians doing stupid things. It was like a Black Adder skit and would be funny if people weren’t killed.
No wonder the US wants to “distance itself” from that clown show. Russians have much to be embarrassed about as well.
Couldn’t have been staged because Zeepers were all bragging about it.
+1
The beginning of the end. Would you trust Pee Wee Zelensky?
“It appears that the mood on FR has shifted. I don’t see anybody screaming that a nuclear war is not a possibility and that Putin will never pull the trigger.”
Putin’s been quite clear - he’ll pull the trigger, but only after the Neocons pull it first, or at least appear to pull it first.
So Russia can go into Ukraine with abandon, bomb and pulverize any city they choose and kill their people but Ukraine can’t go even an inch inside Russian territory? Who made that rule ? Oh wait, that rule doesn’t exist.
So, we have all been mislead? Ukraine actually invaded Russia. Is that what you are saying?
Brandon's bay of pigs.

Seems like Ukraine has to fight with one hand tied behind its back because of political reasons
All I know is things like long range missiles and F-16s that were off the table are suddenly getting approved now
I think Russia tried to win the war in a quick sprint
But now is thinking more like a long term slow marathon
Ukraine has invaded Russia a few times since this war began in various ways. What people are talking about is the US invading Russia and getting us into WWIII.

1) The Russian government released this photo of the alleged Belgorod insurgents vehicles after a battle. I used to be a tow truck operator. This is staged. These vehicles didn’t crash into that trench. I’ll explain why
2) No gravel stuck in the tire tread. In fact, no dirt on the tires at all. This was loaded into that trench off a flatbed and carefully choreographed in place. Not even a low-budget war movie production would be this sloppy with realism. Let’s go to the next
3) So this humvee slammed into the trench wall head on but no soil was pushed ahead of it. Which you would have even if it hit at 10MPH. It’s a heavy vehicle. It’s going to displace soil on impact. This vehicle was placed there off a flatbed. Next
4) How did the front tire get over the trench, but the rear wheels didn’t? Especially since the other vehicle nose-dived into it. Not only that, but it didn’t leave any tire tracks. In fact, the tire never touched the ground at all. Remarkable, since it just crossed a trench.
5) But this one takes the cake. See that displaced soil? That’s from movement of the tire from your right to your left in the photo. The direction of the arrow I drew. That’s from shoving it sideways into the trench from the front of the vehicle semi-diagonally.
6) Here’s how they did it: They used a flatbed truck and a crane. Lowered the vehicles into position, and pushed them by hand into a more dramatic pose. They probably captured these in Ukraine months ago or got them from Iran who captured them from ISIS who captured them in Iraq.
When US troops get involved. Until then, you’re just barking at the moon.
I missed the part where Ukraine was part of the United States. Not our war, not our responsibility. They aren’t NATO, we have no obligation to protect.
Zaluzhny continues to be alive and well as his daily posts at https://www.youtube.com/@RFU confirm.
Sorry Bob.
The Soviet Union’s weapons were used to kill tens of thousands of American soldiers and Russia’s probably in Iraq and Afghanistan. So cry me a river.
Could have bought them from Afghanistan for the low, low price of $10 at Crazy Joe's Army Surplus.
So much hype about the F-16s, but it seems to me they are not suited to this war. While all the talk has been about training pilots, that’s the least of it. These planes have flights crews, not just pilots, for a reason. It’s not just about flying the things — there is maintenance and so forth.
And what airfield are they supposed to use? MiGs can take off and land on anything, even fields. F-16s need a scrupulously clean runway or some bit of debris can get sucked into the engine and bye-bye F-16.
This guy is very much pro-Ukraine, former crew on one, seems legit (unlike so many on Twitter) and explains in detail:

More challenges as outlined by a another staunch pro-Ukrainian (and neocon):

I just can’t see these F-16s being the game-changer some are making them out to be. Then again, I have no military background. Perhaps someone else here who does can explain.
