and prevent this debate

Huh? What debate? That's the whole problem there, chief. The policymakers are acting unilaterally based on one set of opinions.

Musk smashed the echo chamber so now climate “scientists” cannot spout their propaganda unchallenged and they leave like insolent children stomping their feet.

I am seeing regular Gaia worship climate hysteria, so it has not stopped. We debate. That’s how it should be.

I saw this and intended to post it.

The whining projected in the article I’d read was laughable.

Ah, here it is

https://news.yahoo.com/climate-scientists-flee-twitter-hostility-012943481.html

“Peter Gleick, a climate and water specialist with nearly 99,000 followers, announced on May 21 he would no longer post on the platform because it was amplifying racism and sexism.

While he is accustomed to “offensive, personal, ad hominem attacks, up to and including direct physical threats”, he told AFP, “in the past few months, since the takeover and changes at Twitter, the amount, vituperativeness, and intensity of abuse has skyrocketed”.”

ROFLMAO (vituperativeness)

debate is a foreign concept to the globull warmists

they prefer tyranny

the science is settled
no dissent
resistance is futile

Climate and scientist together is often an oxymoron.

Heating and cooling are properties of thermodynamic systems.
Any time a thermodynamic system is examined, one of the most important considerations is mass since massiveness dictates how thermal content is stored in proportion to the size of the mass; less massive systems store less thermal content than more massive systems.
Earth’s atmosphere is very lightweight, being but 1/269th the mass of the oceans. Meaning, of course, that the oceans are real store of thermal content making the oceans the core of climate rather than the atmosphere.
When one accurately defines and describes the phenomenon of ‘climate’ as a thermodynamic problem, all the nonsense about the level of atmospheric CO2 falls into the gutter of inconsequence.
It isn’t difficult.

experts say communicating about climate science on the social network on which many of them rely

This may be the most laughable claim I've read in decades. Science does not "rely" on Twitter or any other social media platforms. Frauds may do so, however, as evidenced here.

Bonus points for the Evil Elon photo up top.
