A vandal recently hit the “Thunderbunny,” a 14-foot-tall sculpture by a world-renowned artist while it was on public display in Broward County.

It took Hunt Slonem, whose work is on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, years to make it out of fiberglass and over 6,500 pieces of glass.

The damage happened to two or three statues/sculptures in Wilton Manors. Wilton Manors is a small city near Fort Lauderdale noteworthy for its homosexual population.

Suddenly, the media CARES deeply about statues not being desecrated.

The suspect is a weird mentally disturbed guy. Don't know if he is a WM resident.

I am just amused as the media wants to know if "hate" played a role in the vandalism.

Almost as if they missed the last five years.

Don’t care if it is considered “ugly” by some. There’s no justification in wanton vandalism of others property.
