Heard that claim both in 2016 & 2020 but I never saw any credible statistics that actually happened. I would like to believe this is true but I remain skeptical.

Yes I did! The claims I saw were just that claims! I couldn’t trace them back to a credible source. Eventually it wasn’t worth the effort. The best I could conclude even being optimistic was that the claims were exaggerated.
