Depleted uranium is exactly that. It's depleted. The alpha waves it does emit can be stopped by paper. Depleted uranium is even used in medical equipment as radiation shielding.

The way it is dangerous is that the metal itself is toxic. And if it was vaporized and inhaled or ingested, then yeah, it could be fatal. But it is less radioactive than natural uranium ore. If there is dangerous radioactivity there, it's not from DU.

I am well aware of DU, very well of its injested dust hazards.

Maybe you missed what EU social media is saying, that some Ukie genuinely authentic nuke powerplant material was stored at that location? Or some other low level radiation? Not me surmising, but what EU citizens are posting.

Who knows at this point? No one, but if true, it WILL come to light.

“Depleted uranium is exactly that. It’s depleted. The alpha waves it does emit can be stopped by paper. “

The decay chain includes both alpha and beta particles. This is the source for radon.

Alpha particles are He-4 nuclei and beta particles for this chain are electrons.
