A judge on Monday dismissed the only remaining legal claim in Republican Kari Lake's challenge of her loss in last year's race for Arizona governor, affirming the election of Democrat Katie Hobbs.
Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter A. Thompson said Lake failed to prove her claim that Maricopa County did not verify signatures on mail ballots as required by law.
Lake was among the most vocal of last year's Republican candidates promoting former President Donald Trump's election lies, which she made the centerpiece of her campaign. She has built a loyal following among Trump supporters and is openly considering a run for the U.S. Senate seat now held by Kyrsten Sinema, an independent and former Democrat. Lake is also often mentioned as a potential vice presidential pick for Trump.
While most other election deniers around the country conceded after losing their races in November, Lake did not. She has touted her legal battle in fundraising appeals and speeches around the country.
Lake did not immediately comment on the ruling.

No more mail in ballots , unless under certain circumstances, should be the lesson learned.
Hopefully the Arizona Supreme Court will overrule him again. You knew he was going to do this when her lawyers were able to meet even the BS evidentiary standard he set by showing the process for signature match verification was not followed as required by Arizona law.
Hopefully, the Supreme Court will require them to produce the ballots for examination by a 3rd party. We all know a lot of them will fail the signature match check. That’s why the judge and Maricopa County do not want them released.
Now seriously, will someone please tell me how President Trump or any Republican will be ‘elected’ in 2024.
I am pretty sure the candidates have already been vetted and (s)elected. All we are seeing at this point if Kabuki Theater.
Show up:
1. on election day
2. Show government issued photo ID
3. on paper ballots
4. Election Observers from both sides have the right to meaningfully observe and challenge each ballot counted.
5. disputes ballots to be decided by a multiparty panel
6. All elections subject to audit every time
Nothing less than this is what we need.
It’s not a two-way street. The courts won’t rule that way when it’s Republicans cheating and the media will show in depth how Republicans are destroying “democracy.” And the number of Republicans going to prison will dwarf J6.

I was surprised to see that Kari kept that same long-haired attorney that she had on the first go-’round. He was an embarrassment then and that didn’t change.
That whole Uriah Heep schtick as he interacted with the judge was cringe-worthy.
Plus, he wasn’t well prepared.

Did anyone really think she would win. Had proof. Was there more drop box video of people stuffing the drop boxes but this time wearing masks. And people counting and not verifying signatures. How do we think the 2024 election is going to go. Lake will run as VP with Trump..
Kari is a fighter. She has pulled the curtain back for all of us to see and the Uniparty hates her every bit as much as Trump.
If it weren't for Kari, we would never know about the 'shrink-to-fit' command that sabotaged the machines on election day, and how no actual signature verification was carried out on the cheat=by-mail-in ballots.
And if it's going on in AZ, you can bet the same thing is happening in other states.
How do you think cases get in front of SCOTUS? Answer: They've lost in the corrupt lower courts. Do you remember the bakery that refused to bake the gay wedding cake? They never gave up and fought it all the way to SCOTUS, where they won.
Ditto for Kari Lake. She has promised to take it all the way to SCOTUS, if she has to. I never expected that Democrat hack judge to rule for her. She has a much better chance with the AZ Supremes, and if the RINOs on that court still deny her justice, she needs to take it to SCOTUS.

Hopefully, the AZ Legislature will be successful in taking back their power over Federal elections as decreed in the U.S. Constitution. Wendy Rogers, Sonny Borelli, et al., are focused on that.
Rogers said that it’s possible that for elections with both Federal (like POTUS) and State issues, the Federal issues would be on a paper ballot.
The headline is not the truth.
It was demonstrated that the election did not abide by the election laws concerning signature checking on mail in ballots.
The only way this ends, is by states enforcing those checks or eliminating most of the “mail in ballots”, the yellow brick road to destruction of the nation.

Is that true? The Judge refused to allow Lake’s team to examine the ballots and made them try to prove an impossible goal?
If Lake’s team had requested to psychically see the ballots and the Judge refused then that alone is grounds for an appeal.
It is a fact that 99.8% of the Judges in this country are lazy and biased, they will look for any easy way out.
If ballot harvesting is legal, which it is in many states, then it’s not cheating, ask yourself do the Republicans have any plan at all to create a ballot harvesting program ??
If they do, I have never heard of it.
Do the Republicans encourage their voters to vote early or on election day ??
In the recent Arizona elections, Kari Lake and all the Republican candidates told their voters to vote on election day, what happened ??
The election machines didn’t work and disenfranchised Republican voters...had they been voting all along the election machines being down would not have mattered. this is all legal.
One thing the Democrats are excellent at is Lawfare, they will sue for any reason to implement change. In states that allow universal mail in voting, one way to combat that is file one lawsuit after another for as long as it takes to clean up the voter rolls and remove dead people and people who have moved. This is all legal is not being done on anywhere near the level of the Democrats.
That’s 3 ideas the Republicans could use to combat the unfair election system, what we get is a strategy that has consistently failed, which is the classic definition of insanity.

They did request to see the ballots and the judge did refuse and Lake did appeal this to the Arizona Supreme Court. We'll see if the Arizona Supreme Court wants to run and hide and allow what we all know to be a corrupt system to hide its corruption, OR if they will require transparency by requiring that Maricopa County release the ballots so they can be examined by a 3rd party.
To those NeverTrumpers and to Democrats who have been celebrating the judge for throwing the case out, I point out that they should want full transparency so the public can be sure their elections are honest. I then ask them why they are opposed to transparency. Not one of them has ever answered. We all know why.
So - proving that they couldn’t have done it is not the same as proving they didn’t do it - did I get that right?
The Republicans will only get serious about election intergrity and reform as soon as the Orange Bad Man is gone from the political stage.
