Actually the muslim Chechens fighting with Russia in Ukraine ( Kadryov’s troops) are doing a pretty good job of protecting and aiding Russian-Ukrainian civilians regardless of religion. They went building by building in Mariupol and rescued civilians trapped in basements, often forcibly sealed into basements by AZOV as human shields. This is not the stereotypical Aloha Snackbar fighting force.
