Have a cow? Paranoia? I don’t think those words accurately describes Trump’s state of mind. I would offer instead - competitive, aggressive, task-oriented, relentless, focused, and vigilant. Trump is playing for keeps and when he sees someone challenging him, he responds swiftly - as much to send a message to anyone else who might be thinking of crossing him, as to respond particularly to that individual.
