Hungary has announced that it will block an EU military aid package for Ukraine, labelling the country as “hostile” after an alleged plan to blow up an oil pipeline leaked in the Western press.
Hungarian government officials have expressed their fury at Ukraine in recent days, decrying the country as being “hostile” after the country’s alleged plans to blow up an oil pipeline leaked in the Washington Post last week.
As detailed by the leaks, Zelensky has reportedly been considering an attack on Russia’s Druzhba pipeline that supplies oil to Hungary in what would appear to be an attempt to sabotage the country.
Kyiv has also blacklisted Hungarian bank OTP, listing the firm as a sponsor of Russia’s invasion, causing further anger in Budapest.
According to a report by the Associated Press, senior officials in the Hungarian government say that they are blocking EU attempts to send more weapons and ammo to Ukraine in retaliation for the blacklisting.
“We cannot support the allocation of another half a billion euros from the European Peace Facility for arms transfers to Ukraine, and we will not give it the green light as long as OTP is on this particular list,” the country’s Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto, remarked, decrying the singling out of OTP as “scandalous and unacceptable”.
He also denounced Zelensky’s alleged plans to blow up the Druzhba pipeline, saying overall that there was evidence that “Ukraine is behaving more and more hostile towards Hungary”.

Hungary might become the first country to leave the EU. But they won’t be the last.
“Hungary might become the first country to leave the EU. But they won’t be the last.”
Try again: Britain did it a few years ago.
“Hungary, a historically Catholic country, right now gets along better with Orthodox Russia than the EU.”
Hungary has been buds with Russia since 1956. Kind of a Stockholm Syndrome thing.
Yup forgot about them lol.
Good for Hungary.

Best country in the EU.
“Hungary might become the first country to leave the EU. But they won’t be the last.”
Hungary’s BIG MISTAKE was thinking that the EU would just be a ‘Common Market’, but otherwise they’d retain the right to run their country as the voters wished. They didn’t realize that joining the EU would mean ceding their freedom to Brussels, which is controlled by the Leftists and Neocons in the US.
So now they’re stuck in the middle of a bunch of countries that suck up to the EU (and NATO), and their only real long-term hope (if they want to retain their freedom) is that Russia develops a land bridge to their country, by taking full control of the Sea of Azov and then keep going West to the Ukraine/Hungary border (which is a long way).
Time will tell if that happens.
Who could possibly blame the Hungarians for thinking of Ukraine as a “hostile” country.
That’s Poland.
They have done the heavy lifting vs EU cultural overreach, and Poland is 5X bigger. Hungary gets away with whatever it does because in this stuff Poland is their shield.
And Poland is way more Catholic besides.
The Poles. Hungary is not with the Eastern Euro program.
“ The Poles. Hungary is not with the Eastern Euro program.”

Poland is A-OK with the Ukrainians blowing up the pipeline supplying inexpensive oil to Hungary?
The Poles and etc feel they are free. And they are all just as intensely nationalist. You hear from the Hungarians because of your preferences in news feeds and that Orban has a genius for making noise.
Orban is doing the blame the foreigner thing.
Straight Machiavelli. It works for a while.
Since like everyone else in Eastern Europe they are getting massive benefits from EU membership, it’s going to take a while before Orban’s effects on economic management hit.
I believe they are likely to be. Polish policy has been to get off the Russian pipeline habit. It makes countries dependent on the devil.
I would say to you Satan has a pretty good grip on Western governments. just the facts.
Finally, a breathe of fresh air. The vast majority of EU citizens don’t want Biden’s war, they know war. Their governments ( like ours) are out of control.
The EU is fracturing, a good thing.
EU celebrates LGBT Pride!

So does NATO:

“ I believe they are likely to be. Polish policy has been to get off the Russian pipeline habit. It makes countries dependent on the devil”

Poland has been pissed at Russian pipelines since Germany and Russia constructed the Nord Stream Pipeline network connecting Germany and Russia DIRECTLY. This would enable Russia and Germany to avoid the GRIFTING Polish and Ukrainian transit fees and allow Germany to get cheaper energy.
