And their code is horrible ... yet they control the industry ...
Take a look at all of the leading IT companies in the US, they are all led by Indians. Not a single one, led by an American.
Friend of mine at Microsoft told me Indians there would transfer their dreadfully botched projects to him, and then subsequently attribute it to him on performance reviews. Meanwhile they would get his stuff and take credit for it. He ultimately resorted to suicide (at least I am sure it was), leaving behind a wife and son.
Second this. As a consultant I was occasionally called in to “fix” this kind of code.
Lordy. No formatting, no comments, no structure, unnecessary subroutines. Looked like something a high school freshman would have done. No adherence whatsoever to any sort of design principles.
And their documentation, when it exists, is worse! I never hire Indian programmers.
