The US has supported the Saudis for decades despite their own array of abuses. No moral outrage. The US has invaded Syria with zero invitation — that being the next location post Libya Russia refused to allow through the UN Security Council.
They said no more regime change UN resolutions and they meant it — and exactly what US interests are there in Syria, anyway. Russia has troops there. Invited.

And, with US agreement- allowing Russia (no longer the Soviet Union since 1989) to get Ukrainian nukes that were Russia’s, and... allowing the new Russia to be on the Security Council of the UN along with allowing the Chi-Coms to sit on same. Any one Security Council member can veto the votes of all the rest. THE USA allowed this!
