"Bakhmut was 'homed,'' he wrote. "It does not excite me. Taking into account what I know about losses, wasted resources, lost time and the initial understanding of the strategic senselessness of this operation."

Many convicts will ‘volunteer’ for army duty.

He is able to get rid of many undesirables from the Russian hinterlands!

Much better than the Chinese one-child program and almost as good as Stalins Holodomor!

No need for medical care for disabled veterans or even getting them a job, they will have no children because they are dead, save millions of rubles.

Putin the genius!

Mother Russia weeps for her children murdered by Putin and she will avenge them.

I thought Bakhmut was a major transportation hub where several rail lines passed through and was necessary for supply.

"His claims, which could not be independently verified"

Basis for an article posted breathlessly by a zeeper... and so it goes.

You and others here who have been so supportive of Biden’s Folly are now appear to be quickly going through the various stages of grief. Yesterday there was shock, denial, and anger about the fall of Bakhmut. Today we have entered the Bargaining stage. Yes, it happened but it is really not very important.

Sorry guys the corrupt regime that we have now spent $113 Billion on to preserve has taken another huge dump on the battlefield. After being directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of poorly trained hapless Ukrainian often kidnapped from the streets and their homes they have delivered another stunning loss. Sorry guys there will be no meaningful Ukrainian offensive.

If Biden had allowed his puppet Zelinsky to negotiate with the Russians a year ago there would have been something left to save. Now we have a wrecked country and a dictator who will be fleeing soon with $Billions of taxpayer funds to live out his life in comfort abroad. But wait there is more, the Democrats and deep state Republicans have received enough kickbacks to pay for who knows how many more rigged elections. I guess to you Neocons another huge humiliation might seem like it was worth it looking at it that way, but that is the end of the bargaining stage.

Your next phase will be depression. And the rest of us here will be treated to the moaning and complaining from a bunch of Neocon couch potato war hawks lamenting about how unfair life has been to them. But really, had you forgotten that Joe Biden is no General Patton? And all you really ever had to look forward to was another Afghanistan withdrawal style humiliation? It is your fault and you should accept the blame. You acted like idiots when you bought into all the propaganda hook, line and sinker.

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! Well said!

Everything warmongering globalist and leftist scum touch is destroyed

What a terrible thing they have affected - tens of thousands of young men dead and maimed. Five million Youcraynians on the run in other countries. Youcrayne getting wrecked beyond repair by a country headed by a thug who the leftist/globalist filthbags have been goading and poking at for at least a decade. And yet, FR Youkazoids still react to the horror of it all as if it were a sports match. Ugh.

And those of us who have had personal contact with refugees and other Ukrainians who are aware of the truth have been shouted down and called dirty names related to Putin. It has been a travesty and these people should be ashamed for being so damned stupid.

Prigo just made a statement that he’s retreating from Bakhmut on May 25th. Not much of a victory if he’s abandoning the town in less than a week after its supposed capture.

If it was senseless, why did Zelensky say this before Congress in December:

"The fight for Bakhmut will change the trajectory of our war."

You lie, lie and lie some more.

Armemovsk was the whole key to the the defense in Donetsk and Zelensky was the one that sacrificed 60,000 men there to try to keep it.

Ukraine will crumble in the rest of Donbass.

Even when Ukraine gets is ass handed to it, you're proclaiming victory.

Here, let former CIA analyst Larry Johnson explain what happened to you:

https://sonar21.com/western-delusions-about-russia-and-ukraine-is-genuine/

But Ukraine paid a heavy price in blood in trying to hold onto that supposedly “worthless” city. Simplicius provides the details of the Ukrainian military obituary:

Why is Bakhmut called a Meat Grinder?
Who was decimated in Bakhmut:
Brigades:
45th Brigade
43rd Brigade
26th Brigade
28th Brigade
62nd Brigade
63rd Brigade
53rd Brigade
60th Brigade
24th Brigade
57th Brigade
30th Brigade
Advance Rubizh Brigade
Advance Azov Brigade
Advance Uragan Brigade
Advance Spartan Brigade
109th Brigade
116th Brigade
119th Brigade
241st Brigade
93rd Brigade
77th Brigade
46th Brigade
4th Brigade
17th Brigade
61st Brigade of Jaegers

Special Forces and Spetsnaz Regiments:
5th Assault Regiment 8th Regiment of Special Forces

Kraken Battalions:
122nd Battalion
68th Battalion
49th Rifle Battalion
15th Mountain Assault Battalion
Omega
Border Guard Donetsk

8th Regiment of the UDAR UAVs:
Shershen
Adam
Karlsen
Terra
Skala
Madyar
Khartia
Kep
Seneka

WASP Legions:
Dudaev Battalion
Georgian Legion
Mansur Battalion
Shamil Battalion
Gonor
Normandy Legion

Most of these battalions have suffered more than 70% casualties just against PMC Wagner.

The twenty five brigades listed above represents a force of atleast 50,000 men (assuming only 2000 men in a reduced brigade) and as many as 125,000. Simplicius also lists at least 9 battalions and 5 regiments — that is 4500 and 5000 additional troops respectively. Do the math. If Ukraine deployed 134,500 troops to the battle for Bakhmut, 70% casualties means that Ukraine suffered as many as 94,150 killed and wounded.

That is likely a gross misrepresentation of what if anything has actually been said by anyone involved in this milestone. Do you believe that Bakhmut will be under Ukrainian or Russian control on May 25th?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You are nothing bad a joke bloke, marcusmaximus.

I thought they were winning the battle for Bakhmut, Putin's near death, Putin's about to be replaced yada yada yada.

Now you are really scraping the bottom of the barrel with this report, which sounds as bogus as all of your other posted reports have been.

Time for diplomacy and an end to this conflict.

In todays video, Prigo said he’s fleeing Bakmut on Thursday and continued to bash Shoigu and Gerasimov for losing more flank positions. Too funny!
