I guess I might be what you call a “true believer”, but this might be the deal breaker with me and Trump. It is a really dumb move on Trump’s part because he’s going to lose a lot of votes who are pro life.
The way things are going...no Republican will win in 2024. We are all divided and it looks like it is getting bitter and ridiculous. I will vote for the person who can stand up and talk about all the issues in a frank, clear no nonsense way that points the way to solutions and does so without using name calling and personal attacks. We need a strong leader that can actually lead the party and the country in the right direction.
Yeah, it's a "Two Corinthians" kind of look on the issue. I think ultimately there isn't room "left" of DeSantis for DJT to show himself the moderate. It isn't going to work. The next thing you know he will be saying he will negotiate an immigration deal which will include "dreamers", etc. Same for "assault weapons". I suppose we will see.
