As has been long predicted, the first of many hit pieces on Casey DeSantis, the wife of Ron DeSantis, has dropped. Politico did the honors on Friday, attacking the recent cancer survivor as too involved in her husband’s life, citing numerous anonymous sources and some non-anonymous ones who really should have been.
The big bombshell in the story can be summarized as follows: Ron and Casey DeSantis have a good marriage, and they also support each other in their endeavors.
I know, it’s shocking stuff, but Politico did its level best to try to turn Casey DeSantis into an ominous figure. I guess you have to give them credit for the effort, I guess.
For some time now she’s been seen mostly and by many as an absolute superstar of a political spouse, a not so “secret weapon,” even something like his saving grace — an antidote for her sometimes awkward husband, social in a way that he is not, charismatic in a way that he is not, generally and seemingly at ease in the spotlight in a way that he so often and so evidently is not. A telegenic former television personality, a breast cancer survivor and a mother of three young kids, Casey, 42, has a sort of policy portfolio of her own that ranges from hurricane recovery to issues of mental health.

Nick’s comments aren’t meant to be taken seriously. I think he probably even laughs when he types them. He just enjoys throwing spitballs. Am I right Nick? (Yeah, I know Nick’s not your real name. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Carraway).
No, I don’t trust the MSM, and haven’t for many years. I believe my own eyes. There are times when I see RDS try too hard. Why is he doing that? Why doesn’t he just be himself? It’s a turn off.
“Tokyo Rove! Is that you? Where have you been?”
Too Funny... loved it!
I have never noticed that.
Wasn’t there something about her obscuring her parents/family roots, with her father having been some sort of intel agent and she thought to be Ron’s handler?
Your claim is really kind of funny in an absurd sort of way. Rove hates Trump and what he stands for and vice versa. Whatever blog you follow, find a better one. Anyone can write BS and sell it to the public. We have to discern. On the other hand, if you show me the original source proving that Rove advised Trump, I will believe. Not just a blog post with secret information.
“And yet the polling shows the opposite.”
Oh yeah, all the polls say Hillary will beat Trump easily.
Trump, desperate? LOL Seriously doubt PDJT had ANYTHING
to do with this utter lie; the fact being, he and his wife
appear to have the values RDS/CS show in their marriage.
More than likely, a NEVER TRUMPER ‘leaked’ this story to some
wide lipped blabber mouth ‘journalist’.
The LORD gave you brains as well as digits. It’s best to
use the first before using the second!
Agree DeSantis has no international skills not a people person and armed with a lot of ego and has questionable friends and not all the great pulling power in his state.
Yep he’s pure media love fest for the TDS tribe.
And Trump wins the primary running as a independent is moot. But doubt DeSantis will succeed like Lisa Murkowski to Joe Miller when the DNC didn’t support the primary winner in 2004. DeSantis will probably get RNC help.
