Agree 100%. It never should have been allowed out of the closet, but the “live and let live” folks, with their lazy attitude toward morality, stood aside as the homos and other assorted freaks poured out.
If Disney is purging some of their content to try to tamp down the furor over their “woke” agenda, that’s a good step but it won’t even come close to solving their issue. Until they unequivocally denounce homosexuality and the other deviant behaviors that flow from it, and make it clear that those behaviors have no place in the entertainment produced by what used to be the bastion of family friendliness, then no one who is concerned about this issue should move one inch back toward their company’s products. That’s the key with every one of these “woke” companies that are now feeling the pain of customer backlash: They have to be forced to denounce wokeness, particularly sexual deviancy. Highly unlikely, I know, but the alternative is “go woke, go broke.”
The only acceptable action for reconciliation to occur is complete and clear repudiation of wokeness (which is really Marxism) and sexual deviancy. These companies have to be forced to choose between the deviants and the much larger group of normal people.

The Left is definitely trying to spin the cancellation of a Disney office complex as a slam on DeSantis. Only morons buy this.
Post-Covid, the value of large corporate office buildings has cratered. They may be worth as little as 20% of what they were pre-Covid. Cancelling that is the only right answer, you can go buy as many office buildings as you want in any major market for pennies on the dollar in the post-Covid world.
Cancelling those plans was just a smart executive move that had little to do with the DeSantis - Disney conflict over grooming of children. No one is building office space right now. People are trying to figure out how to convert existing office buildings into residential occupancy apartments and condos.
