Great. Feinstein retires or dies. Whatever. Gavin Nuisance appoints a replacement, Adam Schitt. He can then use his new experience to enhance his resume for the special election, and when he’s elected, he’ll use that experience to enhance his resume for the regular election.
Unless you have a viable Republican to run for Feinstein’s seat against the incumbent Schitt in the special election, we’d best pray for the old cow’s sudden recovery. You better believe Nuisance will appoint him, unless there’s someone even worse available.
