And a Florida Atlantic University-Mainstreet Research poll could spell trouble for DeSantis, who has yet to announce a presidential bid but is widely expected to do so in the coming weeks.

Despite Trump's legal problems, 69% of registered Republican Florida voters say they will back Trump in 2024, with 18% saying they "somewhat support" Trump.

Sunshine State survey participants said they would back Trump over DeSantis, 59% to 31%.

The Premise poll was conducted May 12-15

Looking at the players it’s becoming apparent that those who talk about Trump’s inability to win have a greater fear they will lose their power and position if he does. A lot of people calling themselves “republicans” are responsible for the debacle that is the Biden administration. I’d put Mitch McConnell, William Barr and the John Cornyn’s of the world near the top of the list.

It’s time to clean house if you are sickened by the display today at the hearings on FBI abuses . . . or keep getting sucker punched until you have nothing left.
