But I must tell you, mbrfl, I am NOT insulted by it. Meatballs are great and since I had such a good time growing up in an Italian family, that no attempt at insulting me would work.

Same here. My Dad was Italian. As a general rule, Italians are confident enough in themselves to not get triggered over something like that. Like you, I’m not offended by it. The only thing that hearing it makes me feel is, hungry.
