LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron has won the state's Republican gubernatorial primary and will face incumbent Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear in the November general election.
Cameron, a rising star in the party, came out on top in a crowded field of 12 Republican candidates that included former U.N. Ambassador Kelly Craft and Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles.
His campaign had the backing of former President Donald Trump in a contentious race that served as a proxy fight between the Republican presidential front-runner and a number of other Republican heavyweights, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who both backed Craft.

Great!
A huge win for Trump.
Agree!! Cameron is one impressive gentleman.....I DO hope he wins!!!!
No wonder trump backed him.
Now for the Repukes to Sabatoge and refuse to fund him
Cameron, Kentucky first black governor? We might sweep the 3 gubernatorial races this fall, KY, LA and MS.
So is Kelly Craft—hugely.
Craft was a Bush appointee, a committee chair for Mitt, and a big supporter of McConnell and Ryan.
*We might sweep the 3 gubernatorial races this fall, KY, LA and MS.*
The senate is where the action is. More important. Gotta wait.
Good news.
MAGA!
Kentucky open a can of whoop-ass on Beshear!
He has a great chance of becoming the Governor of KY if Trump will endorse Beshear in the general election.
This is so great! I know the media thinks Beshear will win regardless because he is “so respected by both sides of the aisle”. However, look at the vote totals. With 95% of the ballots having been counted, the GOP vote total is 302,725, and the vote total for all Democrat candidates is 193,470. That is a pretty large gap in party voting numbers.
Expect the talking heads for the next few months to discuss with concern, (very deep concern) about whether “red” Kentucky will be willing to vote for a black man as Governor.
Also, expect the left to cheat in the general election. That’s a given.
Beshear was elected with 709,846 votes when be beat Bevin. The GOP vote total of 302,725 is fine for a primary, but not super exciting.
Trump could toss a couple million his way. His PACs are flush, right?
Also, expect the left to cheat in the general election. That’s a given.

Wow, making excuses already?
He has been the ONLY thing standing between Beshear and the bad law.
