I fail to see what's wrong with a spendthrift going broke. They KNOW if they cut SS, and military pay, they won't last a month. So some scientist doing a federal study on the breeding habits of white bellied mice might get his Beemer repoed?

Or worse, an illegal invader won't get a midnight flight to NYC and an Iphone? They sure as hell aren't going to close any three letter agencies. Bet they lock up all the federal parks just as the summer begins. They did it before.
