Politicians lie. The government lies. Salesmen lie. Lawyers lie. Madison Avenue lies. Wall Street lies. Big pharma lies. This should be taught in high school. Children are brought up thinking truth telling is the rule and lying is the exception, when the opposite is true.
One possible surprise about the new AI technology is it may enable God-tier lie detection. Such an invention would totally transform our lives for the better.
