That's an attractive dynamic for a cash-strapped, migrant-smothered city like New York, which currently has $2 billion in civil fines that have gone unpaid since 2017.

Then garnish the *migrants" welfare checks and send them back home.

Funny... the vast majority of horrible drivers don’t drive such vehicles.

But I guess that wouldn’t fit with your ‘evil rich drivers’ mindset

Some of the worst physical assaults, robberies, and thefts are committed by poor people. A month sitting in county jail is a vacation for them, and has no detrimental effect on their standing in the “community,” but can threaten the economic existence and social standing of the rest of us.

Hence: Longer jail sentences for poor people!...............

Jail and chain gang for all. Equal protection......

...higher rates to apply only to those with incomes over $500,000...

It always starts like this. Once they get their foot in the door with variable fines based on income, it will not be long before working class Joe's with $50k incomes get the super-premium traffic tickets. Meanwhile, Pedro from south of the border driving a stolen Ford Festiva and collecting welfare and food stamps gets a warning with no fine at all. "Habla no ingles, amigo! Habla no dinero"

Yes...a ticket for speeding or any other traffic violation is suppose to hurt your pocketbook. That’s why you don’t speed or violate the laws. If you can get a smaller fine that doesn’t hurt your pocketbook...how often will you violate the traffic laws again?

Well, there we go!

Just what America (NYC at least) needs,

to look and act more like EUROPE!

Bwahahahahahaha!
