When Russia is ultimately weakened, Turkey will fill the void, and will bring about Ottoman Empire 2.0.

The only good thing about Erdogan is he works as a bulwark against the worldwide homosexual agenda instead of a bullwhip for the Deep State sodomites.

Perhaps so but he's an Islamist. Putin is the same way but he's a ex KGB agent who wants to bring back the Soviet Union.

Turdo keeps Sweden from joining Nato.
During Desert Storm we couldn’t use the Nato
Airport in Turkey to fly sorties against Iraq
because of Turdo.
that said its better the Turd you know than the
POS you don’t know.

That was like those in the 30s who supported Hitler because he was a bulwark against Bolshevism.

Then there is Biden—with dreams of Wakanda.

Turgut Ozal was the last pro-American president of Turkey.

Turgut Ozal spent a couple of years in the U.S.

Apparently they're not happy because we are not giving them F-35s. Makes sense because we don't really trust them. But the Turks wants something from the Americans so we have to give it to them. At least they allowed Finland in NATO.

If this is the case, then why has Putin run against the Communist Party nominee in every election?

Erdogan and Putin are both guilty of the same horrid focus — their own country’s well being.

This is an outrageous perspective to Washington.

The over all consideration as an outside observer is that Turkey is an economic basket case. Erdogan the dictator can only make it worse. If he has complete control will continue to run Turkey into the ground.

My impression was that during his first couple of years, Erodgan is similar to Putin. The economy of Turkey modernized somewhat and they were trying to join the EU. But like in Russia, Erdogan became a dictator and we know what happened here. So this is an election in name only. Erdogan will not lose, no matter what.

The polls have only been closed for a few hours, how can they possibly be having results already? In America we wouldn’t be getting results until the Demoncrats figured out have many votes they need to manufacture.

I am confused. Who do you mean by Turdo? Turgut Ozal left office in 1993, so he could have impacted Desert Storm which ended in 1991. Erdogan took and kept office since 2014, so he could be responsible for Sweden not in NATO. But, so far as I know, Sweden has been for neutrality for many years. Thus Ozal could NOT be responsible for Sweden. So which one is the Turd?

The opposition in Turkey is quite angry about graft in the rebuilding of Turkey after the last earthquake in northern Turkey which includes Istanbul. Given the destruction and death from newer buildings in southern Turkey, there may be a lot of anger there too.

In the US counting in cities is often slower because of numbers, but also more liberal. It may take longer for votes to be delivered from the stricken south. In addition there was a large number of Turks voting in other countries, although I think the deadline for turning in those votes was a few days ago. A lot of possibilities for a slow vote count, and opportunities for fun and games too perhaps.
