Such a positive message on graduation day. Kids these days are filled with such hope. The world will end because of climate change, and everyone is racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or some kind of hater. Whatever happened to 21/22 year olds just working/studying and partying hard?

Quite honestly, I don’t remember the graduation speeches from college. I was pretty hung over and just wanted to get out of the sun. I was fully ready to go into the real world to exercise my white privilege and I didn’t need anyone telling me what to do. After all, I spent years preparing for it. It was too late to change course.
