If I lived in Florida, DeSantis running for president would tick me off. He just started his term. He had the law changed so he could retain his Governor position and still run. He had law changed so he could keep his travels secret. He shows a total lack of character by back-stabbing the man without whom he would not be Governor. He would be throwing the base into chaos, which many would resent, and would just stay home.
If “everyone knows the majority of the Republican party wants to move on”, wouldn’t DeSantis be leading Trump in the polls?

The only reason DeSantis would still be running is that the establishment has assured him Trump won’t be on the ballot because of a criminal prosecution that is in the works. That makes DeSantis complicit with them.
