The American people are suffering.
They do not want to hear about 2020 being rigged or January 6th.
They want solutions.
Collins tried to keep Trump on 2020 and Jan 6th because it derails him being able to talk about the future and it turns off moderate voters who want solutions to TODAY’s problems.
2020 Rigged election dominated the first 25 minutes. I bet a good number of people tuned out.
It is not necessary to keep rehashing that, especially since election rules are not federal. The fraud is at the state level and Trump can only try and work with state governors and legislators to fix it. Trump needs a plan to do his own ballot harvesting operation as well (which he says he will).
Stay mum about that. No need to tell the enemy your plan.
Focus on the future. That is what people want to hear.
Collins was trying to get a soundbite from Trump that could be used against him. Her fact-checking Trump shows that she was not a moderator, but an activist. Trump did OK dealing with her, but should have told her moderators do not get to tell people what is true or not.
Trump’s big plus was wanting to stop the killing and desiring Peace when she kept trying to get him to pick sides in a trap. Trump took the high road.
