Local Hispanic leaders in Palm Beach Beach County are trying to convince Governor DeSantis not to sign a bill into law that will stop illegal immigration in Florida, and it’s not only Democrats who seem to be having an issue. Local Hispanic GOP leader Lydia Maldonado who is running for chair of the local Republican party, says she is against illegal immigration but will not get involved in the local battle with the governor.
The recent statement from the legislature sends a strong message. Florida isn’t the state for you if you’re an illegal immigrant.
SB 1718 (HB 1617) was recently passed in the legislature, unsurprisingly along party lines, and will be law once Governor DeSantis sign it. The new law addresses border enforcement efforts and affirms Florida as a law and order state.

This is proof how racist dark skinned people are. They put “their” people’s rights over everyone elses, no matter what party they belong to.
Rubio killed these same bills when he was in
State Capital including a law requiring English only .
Alejandro Mayorkas is Cuban born.
“Palm Beach County Hispanic Leaders Oppose Florida Immigration Bill”
I look at that headline and I come to the obvious conclusion...was there really any doubt? I just get on with my day and assume all Hispanic leaders oppose the Florida Immigration Bill. That’s why he needs to sign it as soon as it hits his desk.
Sounds like someone needs to look into these Hispanic “Leaders” and the relatives and friends and make sure that everyone is here legally. The most likely reason for defending illegal activity is that you are participating or profiting from that illegal activity.
Well, if they don’t like it, how ‘bout they start sponsoring these freeloaders with money, food and housing. Americans have done enough. We can’t do it for every azho on the planet. If they don’t like it, they can go home.
Palm Beach County is one of the if not THE bluest counties in Fla.
I consider that area an outlier as far as state business goes.
Also, I always thought it was hilarious that Rush lived smack dab in the middle of those idiots. 😏
Is it not the height of absurdity to have to pass a law against breaking the law, and to have such a law opposed by members of both parties?
Absurd and obscene.
End Times.
Why should we give a crap what the “Hispanic” leaders think. We’re Americans. We just tolerate the “Hispanics” living in our country so they won’t starve in their home countries south of the border. America has all of the jobs and all of the best “Hispanic” restaurants.
IF they are so TALENTED that we NEED them here-—
THEY can return to their own countries & IMPROVE conditions THERE.
That’s my thoughts also. Now we’re letting in maggots that carried out 9/11 and murdered close to 4000 Americans. Now we are putting those bass turds into our government. All three branches and all agencies. I knew this was going to happen once the far-left turd rolling Democrat politicians legalized dangerous drugs for “recreational” use.
I don’t disagree - but still say someone should look into those “leaders”.
