Doesn’t the Fed have very strict penalties for a class 3 firearm to go unaccounted for?
I’m not sure how that works. The person in possession of a stolen full auto is subject to serious jail time if convicted and not of a protected class. The range operator might have a Class III License. Presumably BATF might pull it. The range might ask if the feds have ever had any weapons stolen...
